Kindergarten–4th GRADE | Strong Foundations
Early years at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
A Strong Start in Faith and Learning
The early years at SEAS are filled with discovery, growth, and joy. In kindergarten through grade 4, children build strong foundations in reading, writing, math, and social skills - all in a safe, faith-filled environment where every child is known and loved.
-
Students begin each day with prayer and attend weekly Mass. They learn Bible stories, explore Catholic beliefs, and prepare their hearts to know and love Jesus.
-
Children grow as readers and writers through phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, spelling, and handwriting. Small-group instruction ensures every child progresses at their own pace.
-
From counting and place value to solving problems with numbers up to 1,000, students develop confidence and fluency in math. They explore time, money, shapes, and graphs in hands-on ways.
-
Inquiry and curiosity guide our lessons. Students investigate Earth, physical, and life sciences and learn about citizenship, geography, and history through age-appropriate activities.

Our Learning Approach.
Every child learns best when they are seen, heard, and supported. In K–2, we use small-group and one-on-one instruction, interactive activities, and play-based strategies to build both knowledge and confidence—all while weaving faith into daily learning.
